It takes the cvs revision of the english file and encodes it into the

You're right. I could have worked this out from the
HOWTO: it mentions these options for GRUB. But I
looked at the installation manual, and it mentioned
these options for GRUB but not LILO. So I assumed LILO
didn't need them. Actually, I did OK with just the
devfs option; although I ran into more

I'm not sure if I agree with this. Even though I'm Dutch, I always set up my
systems as basically English language systems and select en_US as language
and Netherlands as country. But I _do_ want support for accented characters

Hi list,
after the move from CVS to SVN, we also did some changes to the
status-pages:
* http://people.debian.org/~barbier/debian-installer/l10n/
debian-installer translation status.
Denis Barbier's page now only includes the debian-installer SVN.

Well this is why I wanted to switch to subversion. I'm reorganising
build/ and doc/ into a single installer/ directory. The images and
manual will be built from a single source package, and so the manual
will be included in the archive alongside the images. It will also get
onto the CDs,

So it sounds like fdisk in woody created bad, non-standard Sun
disklabels. And yet, they somehow worked. Ow.
Actually, no. I investigated a bit; it seems fdisk is right and
partman (actually libparted) is wrong. I've got a patch, but it's
incomplete, and only lightly

Note that this has already been committed. Also, there are a few new
build dependencies in the control file, although daily builds won't
really need them, except to shut up dpkg-checkbuilddeps.

Welcome Jeremy and thank you for your offer to help.
As we don't know what you can do, please take a look at the 'What can I do to
help?' section on
what about adding something to the installer where it activly asks the
user if they wouold perfer manual config or dhcp. in some cases the user
may have dhcp but want to use manual config.

We see to have some kind of translations of the manual into pt_BR es,
and fr, but all three of these translations fail to build. Currently I
have it bilding en, cs, and ja. It looks like fr and pt_BR used to
work, since they're included on the build linked to from the web page.
