I suppose that this problem is caused by the Gnome Network Manager and that
it says there is no active network connection despite of i am using a
straight forward static configuration and all other programs have no problem
with it.

I installed this file in ~/.asoundrc:
defaults.pcm.card 1
defaults.ctl.card 1
Then in iaxcomm I use default as every sound device. Then
connecting works and the sound sent is ok, but the incoming sound
is stuttering very badly.
