Bug #454917 is back! After system start Splashy crashes with timeout and
system stops booting.
I saw /etc/init.d/console-screen.sh file misses the pidof splashy code,
but I already added manually the code and do not solved my problem.
Thanks for the explanation. Is it that patch that is included in version
2.10.2-7 of eglibc?
Yes.
We could decide to add a versioned depends for
kfreebsd-amd64 only and revert our workaround, but then again dependencies

Hi Mattia! :)
Since the parallellized boot was enabled, cpufreqd has no longer been
automatically started during boot.
The error message is:
L You are using python from experimental? This is not (yet) supported.
You need a Conflicts: probably or Depends limit.

Well, then I can close the bug upstream. But for debian, it has to be
kept open - as lenny is vulnerable.
Addendum: Of cause only the part of the original bug report that
addresses file handling, not the options -P-, -dSAFE and related.

This bug was fixed upstream in 3.6.5.90-1, the first version
after lenny. :-(
Attached is a simplified version (without the configure changes
as Debian has mkstemp) that should fix this in lenny.

Dunno. But currently ghostscript upstream says:
No, localhost was already there but I had to add the machine name to
