I downloaded the source from upstream (1.6.8) and the debian orig.tar.gz
(1.6.9). There are some small changes (see diff bellow), but the answer is
that with have version 1.6.8 sources.
I guess the best way to fix this is just package the right 1.6.9 sources or
even newer upstream
