Apologize for multiple posts. As upstream I vote for close. It is a comprehensible warning caused by running backintime in root mode. It is not an error. It doesn't affect the functionality of backintime because it doesn't use XDG_RUNTIME_DIR or QStandardPaths. I checked the code for that.
