Maps reports it is offline when invoked. I suspect this is a bad
dependency in gnome-maps which assumes that gnome is managing internet
connections. I have always preferred to use the old, reliable Debian
/etc/network/* method. So, I am NOT offline, but Maps things I AM, and
therefore needs to be
