I installed [2], [3], [4] and libglib2.0-0 (2.26.0-1) from experimental,
because [2] and [3] need libglib2.0-0 = 2.25. I started the new daemon
several times with dvb scanner enabled and there were no crashes any
more, so the patch works I would say.

I've installed gnome-dvb-daemon, gnome-dvb-client,
totem-plugins-dvb-daemon and libglib2.0-0 from experimental. The
behaviour is the same as that of the version in squeeze.
The daemon works with one card configured and with two cards when epg
scanner is disabled. It does not work with two cards
I agree with downgrading the servity. But I don't know how to do it.
