I just made the dist-upgrade to Debian 9.0,
which included an update of package nano to version 2.7.4-1
and the problem vanished, the bug is solved in 2.7.4-1.

I checked this only on my Asus EeePC 1011X

Dear Maintainer,
I am not sure if this is a bug in xfce4 of in some part of the vnc software.
But I only noticed it if running xcfe4. I couldn't track it down with xev.

Hello Milan,
I tried your proposal to use persistent device naming symlinks
(macos=/dev/disk/by-id/xxx), it works.
Thank you, Bernward.
