Thanks, it does indeed fix the problem. I've applied the patch and it
will be contained in the next version.
I did some searching around in the gnupg source code and found the
complete mapping from numbers to characters.
The dictionary 1 (R) 2 (r) 3 (s) 16 (g) 20 (G) 17 (D) contains

The colon listings of gpg --list-keys contains a number instead of a
string for the key algorithm used.
I have written a bit of postscript which changes this number into the
corresponding string. This should fix this
