Dear Maintainer,
Digikam is missing a dependancy on libjasper. Without this package
installed, it will not start:
digikam: error while loading shared libraries: libjasper.so.1: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
Note, this issue is fixed in wmbattery=2.50-1 in stretch.
I also saw this issue after upgrading to jessie.
launching wmbattery with no args and it would never update after
launch.
workaround is to launch wmbattery with a -w argument, i.e.
"wmbattery -w 2". it updates correctly when run with a -w specified.

I'm still unable to reproduce this under Arch Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OSX. I am
unable to install Debian, so I cannot try there. Can more information on this
bug be provided? Do the Open and Save As... file dialogs work? Can a
screenshot of the export file dialog with a selected file be
? (To match the KDE or
GNOME desktop dialogs, for example).
p.s. I am away travelling this week, and away from my development box. If
nothing resolves, I can see about slapping Debian on a spare partition when I
get back home.

This bug has been seen and fixed. qbrew-0.3.9 is a snapshot release, and is
quite buggy. I should have made this more explicit on the webpage. The
current stable release is 0.3.5, and the next stable release will be 0.4.0.
I can release a 0.3.10 as a second snapshot, if necessary.

Because the area of code affected has been completely re-architected,
and uses a different view class in Qt, I suspect that the problem no
longer exists in the new version.

If you hold the mouse over the Horizontal and Vertical box buttons in

generate preview thumbnails for each one until it reaches a RealVideo file,
at which point it will stop generating thumbnails and sit there with the

shouldn't have any handler set as default at install time.
