Indeed, the kpdf patch applied fine with -p2. I'm preparing to upload.
Thanks,

Package: dchroot
Version: 0.11
Severity: normal
My login shell is /usr/bin/tcsh.
If I run 'dchroot -d', I get a non-login tcsh in the chroot.
If I run 'dchroot', I get bash in the shell instead.
I'm not sure why; it's not even root's shell (which I tried setting to
/bin/dash).

It seems to view fine in acroread 5.10-sarge0.1, for what it's worth.
Hi Ken,
This PDF appears OK in unstable with xpdf 3.00-14. Could you confirm?
The text on the second page does not look correct but I did not have it
use excessive memory.
thanks,

I have merged them.

a patch.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll be sure to upload 3.01 as soon as it's
released. The work I did in 3.00-14 (ie switching to dpatch) should make
it fairly easy to migrate to the new version.

Hi Hilko,
In March you submitted an ITP for ipodder (bug#301408).
How's it coming along? I am interested in trying this tool on Debian.
cheers

that my system is hosed
anyway, therefore upgrading does no additional harm?
I think it would be better if the preinst still failed so as to bring
this to my attention now rather than on the next reboot.

Package: nvram-wakeup
Version: 0.97-7
Severity: normal
nvram-wakeup always configures the BIOS to start the system 5 minutes
earlier than requested. This is confusing and not well documented.
The -s parameter apparently says that you want the system up and
running by that time. nvram-wakeup
chroot (with amd64 X server)
- xpdf on i386 (with remote X server on WinXP)
All gave the same results. Can you confirm?

Your segfault might not be the same as #313236 anyway.

I don't know whether this is a libc6 bug or a dpkg bug. During
a routine update from unstable (of a few weeks ago) to current
unstable, I started getting segfaults during a libc6 upgrade.
After that,
