Although GNU MES is now part of the Guix bootstrap, a regular Guix build
does not depend on mes; so I would suggest not to have guix wait for
that. T
be a problem with Nyacc 0.93.0, find a patch attached for
that.

I intend to release this as 0.16.1 if/once it builds for you.

my `wip-gnu' branch: it has (experimental) DESTDIR and other Debian
build support (e.g.: do not assume /bin/sh is bash, resurrect guile-2.0).
