Only that in my case I use pulseaudio on a thin client, with 333 mhz
geode cpu, and it eats between 20 an 80% of the cpu while idle.

It seems that vnc4server HAS glx support, but it somehow depends on a
external glx library.
I had exactly the same problem as described above, but after installing
libgl1-mesa-swx11 everything worked fine.
Maybe we need to open a vnc4server bug to include a dependency?

After many times having my display locked (only the mouse cursor moves)
I found every time sawfish was stopped in a read(5,...). More stracing
showed that file descriptor 5 is, at that point, a socket opened with
esd sound daemon.
