I installed gnome-swallow-applet, but it is neither available in the panel
applet addition dialogue (fallback session), nor anything seems to happen if
I'm starting it from the command-line with
on obsolete
libraries like libpanel-applet2-ruby, which have been removed with the
switch to GNOME 3. Closes: #636823, #642531
FWIW, instead of the ssh-menu applet, that's now gone, one may use alltray
sshmenu (alltray package).
