I still have the problem with Eclipse Galileo as downloaded from the
Eclipse webpage. For example, in the File - New - Other - File
wizard, the Next button does not work. Setting the environment
variable as mentioned in previous mails does work.

The two lines in /lib/udev/rules.d/85-hwclock.rules didn't change a thing for
me. Btw, I'm using the 2.6.30er kernel from here:

Since the last Debian update, however, the fsck problem doesn't
seem to appear anymore.

Okay, trying to give more details, but unfortunately, there's no log file from
the failed boot attemps since the root partition is mounted readonly, and I
don't know what to look for. I'm giving it a try, tell me if there's anything
specific I should look for.
