However, if I start Gparted as user, this ask me the root password and starts
without problem and if I run Synaptic again it does it with no problems,
Gparted does something required by Sinaptic to run on Wayland.

I can't print the PS-files generated by fig2dev on the following
PostScript printers: HP lj1200, Samsung CLP550
The printer outputs empty pages only.
So it's not a problem with a single strange .ppd-file only.
When I catch the output Cups sends to the printer and try to view it in
gv the
or experience in the field/trade of
their choice.

is not the correct solution,
set up the dependency system such that sendmail Suggests rmail, but not
depends on it, and rmail as a package becomes only dependent on a sendmail
with some known, fairly bugfree version.

I've had the same problem with duplex not working when printing
Postscript generated/modified by psutils. I'm not sure if it's a bug in
psutils or cupsys. If you think it's a bug in psutils please forward
my message or reassign this bug.
The bug can be fixed either in Cups or in psutils.
I have the same problem on a Sun Enterprise 250, which uses a Permedia2
chipset on its graphics board. It used to work fine with the glint driver,
but lately that won't load (see separate bug report).
So I tried this patch, and that at least fixes the red/blue colour swap. It
