appears to now be resolved, both audio speakers work as expected, please
can this be marked as resolved.

Just to confirm, 5.17 (and its later packages) is now in Bookworrm repos,
checked on an install today and still this firmware appears to be missing.

on a fresh Stretch install on a Alienware Area 51 R2 audio is not working
from the built in sound card.
If I increase settings to max aidio is very very faintly heard, but below
