Hi Matthew,
the issue relies on the way how Config::IniFiles (used by mytop) and the
mysql client itself process the config files. This can easily solved
bycreating a ~/.mytop config as described. Therefor I'm closing this bug.
Thanks for your help,

Hi,
just create a custom ~/.mytop file like follows (see perldoc mytop for
more information):
werner@debian:~$ cat ~/.mytop
user=youruser
pass=my#password
host=localhost
And your ~/.my.cnf remains:
[client]
password="my#password"
mytop and the mysql client are working this way.

Therefor a delayed thread is not considered a sleeping because a
delayed insert handler is literally not sleeping.
I don't agree. A normal sleeping thread is waiting for a new connection

Why do you consider one kind of waiting to be 'active' and the other
kind of waiting to be doing nothing?
Because the delayed insert thread is a thread that received instructions to
insert data into
the database - that means there was an application/whatever fired up an insert
statement but

Hi Arno,
yes I've seen the message in the news today, too. I've just recreated a
new package, uploaded it to mentors and created a RFS against the
sponsorship-requests pseudo package.
Furthermore, this should also be done for the package in stable.
regards,
Werner

Hi Arno,
thanks for your reply.
The RT does not feel very comfortable to push standards at this
stage. But given there are no real changes, they may generously
ignore that while reviewing your debdiff.
Yes, there are no real changes - I hope

Hi Adam,
just a short question - what about the policyd-weight package in
backports?

Package: powerdns-server
Version: pdns
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software
Dear Maintainer,
after installing the latest package in wheezy, i do receive the following
message in
daemon.log and pdns doesn't start. Just FYI:
Jul 10 20:10:02 ns pdns[29715]: Guardian is
-common{a} samba-common-bin{a}
smbclient{a} snmp{a} ssl-cert{a} ttf-dejavu{a} ttf-dejavu-extra{a}
What's the reason for that? It's quite annoying because the package has to be
removed every time if you don't need or don't use backuppc.
Thank you,
Werner Detter

after the latest upgrade the cronjob /etc/cron.d/amavisd-new generates the

Hi Alex,
Are you sure there is no old /etc/cron.daily/amavisd-new left?
Just checked - /etc/cron.daily/amavisd-new still persists, I've deleted the
file manually
now. Shoudn't the latest amavisd-new package/update taking care of removing the
file?
thanks,
Werner
