to be) a bug [1] in pytest 8.2.2-1. [1] is the upstream pytest bug that is

This is still relevent, although tests.reproducible-builds.org no longer
tests varied build
I worked around this in my package by using a Lintian override to
suppress debhelper-but-no-misc-depends
