ive repalced the package in the mentors repo, with a re-build (same versioning),
but which has 'nettle-dev' mentioned in the changelog
i built it with pbuilder and tested it with piuparts

yes, i realized later that i should have mentioned that in the changelog
freewheeling does not use gnutls-openssl since 2016 - in v0.6.2, that
functionality was replaced with nettle - perhaps it was an over-sight, that the
0.6.4 debian package still had libgnutls-openssl as a build-dep, and not

some members of the debian-multimedia team added freewheeling to salsa, and
upgraded to the upstream release; but no NMU
please do try to keep this package from being dropped
i am the upstream maintainer and i have been trying for about 18 months to
contact debian user piem about this package; and working with the MIA team for
over a year - the upstream repo is is good shape with up-to-date autotools,

at this point i think the first thing to do is to verify the packaging state of
the dependencies noted previously (re-posted below) and to see that any
remaining dependencies that need packaging should have themselves ITP issues
attached to this one as blockers
currently this ITP has ITP
i see no activity here or on the collab-maint repo in some time - is anyone
still intending to package pagure for debian ?

after discussing this with a DM it was suggested that the 'totem' program also
has the ability to search youtube and it's debian package includes a valid
google API key[1] for this purpose; so perhaps minitube package could use that
key to satisfy

NOTE: this bug has been reported multiple times and marked as WONTFIX[1] - i
think this is a mistake because the presence of this bug *ensures* that the
program's primary functionality is broken OOTB for *every* user - i find this
