Bug#646871: stopmotion: Cannot add image file whose filename contains non-ASCII chars

I opened a bug report 2 months ago on Launchpad since the Stopmotion project has moved to Launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lsm/+bug/1011999 Tim Band provided several patches that fix the issue in several components, see comments #4, #8, #15 and #20. He also found a bug in libtar that avoids

Bug#483787: songwrite: New version available upstream

2012-07-04 Thread Developers DoudouLinux
Hi Ralf, I could help you out with this (improving the packaging, and eventually sponsor an upload to debian). Just great, I'm ok! However this would require an upload of a new package (since it is songwrite2 now), and since we are already in freeze it might be too late to get this into

Bug#483787: songwrite: New version available upstream

2012-07-03 Thread Developers DoudouLinux
Hi, songwrite is orphaned since 30 mars 2009, which means it doesn't have a regular maintainer in debian. Since you seem already to maintain a package for doudoulinux, would you be willing to maintain the debian package as well? Otherwise it will probably be removed from wheezy, and even

Theoretically that would be gvfs. It might well be gvfs-backends if we forgot something, but I don’t see what that would be. My latest investigations showed that this is purely linked to LXDE. I opened my session in Gnome and help pages are correctly displayed, without any extra message or

2011-11-11 Thread Developers DoudouLinux
Hi, The latest version is now 0.4.1. It solves many issues regarding to internationalization, as well as displaying issues with music signs such as flat, sharp and natural. For example it is now possible to write Russian songs and export them as a PDF score, which was not possible with 0.3.x.

FWIW, I cannot reproduce the bug with totem 2.30.2-8+b2 and the attached file. Thanks for this test :). This package version is still in squeeze-proposed-updates, what is the policy to have it move into squeeze? Cheers, JM. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to

Most likely the LaTeX code produced by Songwrite contains something like \usepackage{ae} Replacing that by \usepackage{lmodern} should solve your problem and lead to better results wrt fonts. cheerio ralf Great! I found where Songwrite writes this command in its code and this solves the

Further I'm not 100% sure if ae is really still needed in times of latin modern and cm super. Ralf, are you still on the list? Can you help here? Catching up ... Given Latin Modern, ae is obsolete from my point of view. Actually the above example uses Latin Modern fonts in the end. I'm sorry

Could you provide a minimal TeX input file? I need to discuss with Songwrite author to know how to get such file. I'll tell you more as soon as I've contacted him. This is not an error, but a warning, telling you that some fonts were replaced by others due to non-availability. If songwrite

Do you have yelp installed? Yes it is. I also checked that I can really browse help pages when I open yelp directly and use its search feature. It seems Gtk apps may use an URI like “ghelp:/path/to/file”. I don't know what package can be responsible for associating these URI to an action.
