From the discussion upstream, it appears that there was one patch which
fixed one of the problems, but another patch (from Makoto Fujiwara)
which fixes the flim byte-compiling issues has not yet been applied.
Perhaps a gentle reminder to upstream is in order?

I have to say it was great while it lasted.
