Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
Control: affects -1 src:asunder

I intend to orphan the asunder package. Upstream has no interest in migrating
to GTK3, and will keep maintaining the current GTK2 version. Because of this,
my interest in the package is minimal - see #967259 [1]. (This could
theoretically change if upstream changes their mind regarding GTK3, but it
seems very unlikely [2]). There is a GTK3 port that seems to work just
fine [3], but I don't want to become the sole upstream of it. I might
look at another implementation in another language though...

The package description is:
 Asunder is a graphical Audio CD ripper and encoder. It can be used to
 save tracks from Audio CDs. Main features:
 .
  * Supports WAV, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, and Wavpack audio files
  * Uses CDDB to name and tag each track
  * Can encode to multiple formats in one session
  * Creates M3U playlists
  * Allows for each track to be by a different artist
  * Does not require a specific desktop environment (just GTK+)
