It does not. The problem is that TasksMax in miniupnpd.service is set
too low. Set it to something like 10, because it makes no sense to count
every single process and it is hard anyway when spawning

No, my /etc/default/miniupnpd definitely still exists, and is largely
identical to the packaged version:
root@yipyap:~# diff /usr/share/miniupnpd/miniupnpd.default
