Jul 29 00:10:34 AnonymizedMachineName avahi-daemon[712]: Failed to open
/etc/resolv.conf: Invalid argument
The text “chroot.c: open() failed: No such file or directory” in the last but
one line is red, i.e., indicates an error.  The text “Failed to open
/etc/resolv.conf: Invalid argument” is yellow, i.e., indicates a warning.  From
a high level, what went wrong, and how do we recover from this?  Further, I'd
welcome it if the errors and warnings contain a bit more data here (unless
sensitive stuff gets disclosed) because, as of now, we neither know which file
was tried to be opened nor which which argument to which program (resolv.conf
is not a program) was invalid.
Gratefully,
AlMa
