Dear Maintainer, The Debian patch 0006-dir_colors.5.patch has a typo, which results in a spurious string in the manual page: $ man /usr/share/man/man5/dir_colors.5.gz | grep -C1 '+\.' ~/.dir_colors +. (Slackware, SuSE and RedHat only; ignored by GNU dircolors(1) and thus Debian.) Perāuser configuration file. The patch for fixing this bug is here: <https://salsa.debian.org/debian/manpages/-/merge_requests/5> Have a lovely day, Alex -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/24 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.utf8, LC_CTYPE=C.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled manpages depends on no packages. manpages recommends no packages.
