Upcoming Ardour 8.3 no longer depends on GTK[mm]2.4. It still depends on glibmm-2.4 (>=2.32.0) which is available in trixie.
We hope to release Ardour 8.3 (https://git.ardour.org/ardour/ardour) sometime mid February 2023, and it would be nice if DDs could check feasibility of packaging it beforehand.
