As with every 6-month GNOME Shell release cycle, extensions will need to
be updated for GNOME Shell 46, which is currently being prepared in
Experimental. A porting guide is available here:
https://gjs.guide/extensions/upgrading/gnome-shell-46.html

Because GNOME Shell in Unstable is still at version 44 and because it
is generally not possible for extensions to be compatible with both
GNOME Shell version < 45 and >= 45, extension updates will need to go
to Experimental instead of Unstable until we upload GNOME Shell 46 to
Unstable.

If not updated, this extension will have to be removed from Testing
for the GNOME Shell 46 transition. This bug will be raised to serious
severity when the transition is ready to go ahead.

We expect to get approval from the Debian Release Team to begin the
GNOME Shell 46 transition soon after the 32-bit time_t transition
completes, but we do not know how long the time_t transition will
take.

On behalf of the Debian GNOME team,
Jeremy Bícha
