fbset ignore the -fb description.
I've two framebuffer-devices, /dev/fb0 and /dev/fb1
They are connected with the two heads of a Matrox G450 and two different
Monitors. If I try to use the fbset to switch the resolution and
geometry of the devices, that works wrong. I type at a console on
/dev/fb0 fbset -fb /dev/fb1 (e.g.) 1280x960-75 and get the actual
framebuffer (dev/fb0) switched. Sometimes does it work correctly,
mainly if I use script with the same line (fbset -fb /dev/fbx...)
direct after the system boot at the first console.
