Hi,
When I try to start playing something with Kaffeine in completely freeze
and then, I have to kill him. It doesn't give me any stack trace and no
usefull message when starting from a

Could you give me your libfam0 version, it's missing on the bug report:
dpkg -l *fam*
Kaffeine uses xine backend, is it reproducible using xine-ui ?
Have you got fam installed ?
