Package: lvm-common Version: 1.5.20 Severity: normal When I boot my encrypted lvm I get an error and have to press enter to boot the system.
I have Etch on an USB notebook hdd (/dev/sdb). sdb2 is configured as lvm with a vg that contains one lv for etch (vg-root_crypt) excluding swap and one lv for swap (vg-swap_crypt). Both are encrypted, the lv root with a key that has to be entered at boottime and the lv swap with a random key. At boottime I get the prompt to enter the LUKS passphrase. After that: Begin: Running /scripts/local-premount ... resume: libgcrypt version 1.2.3 resume: Could not stat the resume device file. Please type in the file name to try again or press ENTER to boot the system: After pressing enter the system boots normally. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-686 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages lvm-common depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii module-init-tools 3.3-pre4-2 tools for managing Linux kernel mo Versions of packages lvm-common recommends: ii logrotate 3.7.1-3 Log rotation utility -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
