Hi I believe 442871 and 522065 and duplicates. Seems like in the 1.7 tree the source uses sudo-ldap.conf
This and the change to nsswitch to by default not use sudoers: ldap files I think its in line to keep using /etc/sudo-ldap.conf, same as nss + pam have their own conf files I upgraded to 1.7 from 1.6.xx and sudo failed would not contact ldap, even crashed when I removed /etc/sudoers I copied my /etc/ldap/ldap.conf to /etc/sudo-ldap.conf file and everything started to work again Alex
