Hi,
I've tried mingw 3.15.2 and it seems to work.
The package (no warranty ;) ) is:

runtime_3.15.2-0~ppa1_all.deb
It builds fine (note that's an ubuntu environment,not debian), and then we
tested it compiling ffmpeg 0.5.
Uploading to experimental would be useful, and allows you to get early
feedback before an upload to unstable. We are planning to release
GnuTLS 2.6.0 soon, together with a Windows release built using mingw32
on a debian system, and the sprintf bug in mingw32-runtime (#452977)
