Hi Patrick, I commented out the line: Option Textured2D True in the Device section of my xorg.conf, rebooted and it works!!! Xorg does not crash! So it looks like my Mobility X1400 is much happier with those settings and the 1:9-1-1 driver. I tested out Compiz Fusion (which is really the
