You are wrong, we use-session-dbus and gnome DOESN'T start. We have a
network of 42 workstation and are not joking. It has been 2 months and
GNOME doesen't start. Why have you declassified the bug knowing
nothing about it?
to start gnome I have to put this in .xinitrc:
dbus-launch

Apparently they don’t, I received yet another bug today which is
probably caused by that.
