Package: dbconfig-common Version: 1.8.39 Severity: normal /usr/share/dbconfig-common/dpkg/common contains this:
dbc_write_package_config(){ .... ucf "$tfile" "$dbc_packageconfig" Running ucf this way produces an annoying message: *** WARNING: ucf was run from a maintainer script that uses debconf, but the script did not pass --debconf-ok to ucf. The maintainer script should be fixed to not stop debconf before calling ucf, and pass it this parameter. For now, ucf will revert to using old-style, non-debconf prompting. Ugh! Please inform the package maintainer about this problem. So do I. :-) Gabor -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.1 APT prefers proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages dbconfig-common depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.24 Debian configuration management sy ii ucf 3.0016 Update Configuration File: preserv dbconfig-common recommends no packages.
