Sigh, after upgrading I am having the same problem.
On the build in screen of the laptop the mouse cursor is visible, but
on the bigger TFT it has disappeared.
# CONFIG_DRM_I915_KMS is not set
So, I need to build my own kernel?
Anything else necessary to get KMS working?
