Thanks for packaging this package. I used to my package before, now I can switch to Your package. But I think that it would be nice if sphinxsearch used prefix for its utilities. Its confugure has --program-prefix option, You can use it. If You try to use apt-file search bin/indexer You will be able to find some indexer utilities, for example: mnogosearch-mysql: /usr/sbin/indexer mnogosearch-pgsql: /usr/sbin/indexer mnogosearch-sqlite: /usr/sbin/indexer sphinxsearch: /usr/bin/indexer If we install mnogosearch and sphinxsearch we will duplicates in root $PATH which will point to different utilities. This problem can lead at problems in scripts which will be based on indexer utilitie.
