Hi there, I just stumbled upon this same bug. The problem is that calibre
fails to run with python-qt4 4.4.2-4 but it works with 4.7.3-1+b1.
In other words, calibre should depend on python-qt4 = (some version),
possibly 4.7.

Right, what I expected. So frankly I don't see what's wrong here. This
either looks like calibre _did_ install python-qt4 correctly and it
wasn't working for some reason, or you perhaps had a local
tag 584855 moreinfo unreproducible
