Hi folks, This is confirmed by making a small change to 60-cdrom_id.rules: IMPORT{program}=/bin/sh -c 'sleep 1; /lib/udev/cdrom_id --lock-media $tempnode' One more addition: After making the above addition, the same problem started occuring for the scsi_id program (also for /dev/sr0).
