No, as I told Mike the other day, I'll do the backporting work.
Changes are going to live in the debian-squeeze-backports branch instead.

Same problem here, on my squeeze machine.
In first place tried to compile libcairo2, and then need to compile
pixman.
Pixman FTBFS on squeeze.
