Package: lintian Version: 2.5.2 Severity: normal This test trips if the field is not [commented in brackets], but po-debconf now supports # Real comments, and my understanding is that this is what the translators now prefer us to use.
I'm not sure if all the packages it currently fires on are false positives, but vpb-driver at least is. The templates in that one were reviewed by the Smith Inquisition some time back, and their advice at the time was to just keep the # comments only.
