With a graph created with these options:
self.dot_graph = pydot.Graph(graph_name="MC", graph_type="digraph",
simplify=True, rankdir="LR")
When I save by using the to_string() method, I get the following crash:

NameError: global name 'elm' is not defined
If I change "elm" to "edge" in line 1458 of pydot.py, the crash goes
away.
