Still present in fglrx-12.1, with kernel 3.2.1-amd64, and squeeze
Xorg. fglrx sucks.
I have no knowledge of someone who has this same issue on i386. I vote
for the amd64 tag.

it seems unlikely. the fixed version of libdrm is now in unstable,
but i still get the fglrx crash.

I have the same issue, though I used libdrm-radeon1 from the testing
release (version 2.4.27-1).
In #651316 they state that the fault is not present with this version.
To be eager I installed version 2.4.29-1, that contains the fix for
#651316, and the crash is still the same.
I also tried

Installed today gnome-sushi 0.2.1-2 nautilus previewer, it works without
crash. VLC with x11 works without crash, totem, ffplay crash.

This bug affect also xine, vlc and minitube. Even opera using xine plugin. The
only way is to downgrade Xorg. In my opinion it is grave bug and fglrx
shouldn't depend on xorg 1.11.
