Package: minitube
Version: 1.7-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Since some weeks minitube only plays a few seconds of each video and jumps to
the next file. When starting from console one can see that instantly after
begin to play a file a message appears saying "About to finish" tree times:

***example/off***

It does not depend on the files you play.
It seems it does *not* depend on the minitub version (on an older parallel
installation (the same computer) with an older debian/sid, not dist-upraded for
some month, the newest minitub played all videos as it should. After an dist-
upgrade, minitube (still same version) showed the bugs as mentioned in thios
bug report.
The kernel version does *not* seem to trigges this bug ( newest minitube with
old kernel (3.1) on old system played well, old kernel (3.1) and system after
dist-upgrade --> minitube shows bug, new kernel (3.3) and system after dist-
upgrade --> minitube shows bug!!!

Conclusion:
One of the dependencies or one of the components minitube relies on triggers
this bug.
