same problem in sid (updated daily) - i installed firebird2.5-superclassic (i didn't try with others versions) and it asked for a password - in /etc/firebird/2.5/SYSDBA.password there's a random password - same thing if i run dpkg-reconfigure firebird2.5-superclassic thanks in advance --
