Hello Chris,
thanks for the bug.
Icinga Web now utilizes the docs directly and suggests them for use.
This is done via aliasing in the apache2.conf, so the user can disable it
there.
The change should be included in the first after-wheezy release of 1.7.2.

Hi.
It would be nice if the two cronks for the documentation (EN and DE) would work
out of the box.
What's currently missing is a simply symlink:
/usr/share/icinga-web/pub/docs
that points to:
either /usr/share/icinga/htdocs/docs or
Oh and I'd also suggest, that the package recommends icinga-doc then.
Have a look at bug # , and how Alexander decides upon it.
I proposed him there to recommend (or suggest) icinga-doc, and to demote
the recommends of nagios-images to a suggests.
Maybe that should be aligned between icinga-cgi
