Hi When a system has a zombie process, it is the fault of the parent which does not reap the exit status. Therefore, the zombies test in misc should indicate the parent as the culprit. Likewise, whitelisting via the configuration in /etc/hobbit/zombies_ignore should apply to the parent. The attached patch has been used at our site for more than a month and works reliably.
