Bug#724014: pavucontrol: Output settings are forgotten and must be set again: Bookworm

I am seeing similar to what Gerard ROBIN saw. I have two machines, both using HDMI monitors. I find that the quickest way to restore sound is Configuration -> Digital Stereo (HDMI) Output -> Digital Stereo (HDMI 3) Output (unplugged) (unavailable) [or similar] -> Digital Stereo (HDMI) Output.
