dpkg 1.17.6 and newer supports so called uniform compression where
control.tar is compressed with the same compressor that was used for
data.tar, meaning for xz you end up with data.tar.xz and control.tar.xz.
reprepro currently hardcodes
and now i found out that the problem is that, when using lzip, depending
on using lunzip and that fails if it's not installed (people are using
lzip -d, not lunzip anymore)..
so the only remaining thing is that it would be nice to have a more
accurate error message when the reprepro uncompressor
